Descendant of Corp. William Bourne Branham and of Joseph Hedges, of Kentucky. Daughter of William Webb Branham and Sithey Hedges, his wife. Granddaughter of William Bourne Branham and Frances Vivian Webb, his wife; John Hedges and Catharine Troutman, his wife. Gr.-granddaughter of Joseph Hedges and Sarah Biggs, his wife. William Bourne Branham, ((1763-1845), enlisted in the Light Dragoons at the age of sixteen and served to the close of the war. He was born in Virginia, received a pension as corporal of Va. militia, and died in Bourbon Co., Ky. Joseph Hedges, (1743-1804), enlisted in Capt. John Combs' company, Col. Oliver Spencer's Continental regiment, and served three years. He was born in Maryland and died in Bourbon Co., Ky. Also No. 14529.
