An abstract of his will is on-line found in: Kentucky Records, Volume 1 (contributed by Mrs. William Breckenridge Ardery, Jemima Johnson Chapter, Paris KY page 23.

I missed the names posted on the plaque at the Bourbon Co. Courthouse by the DAR Chapter. I don't know if his name was on it. (where can I check on it?) I can only assume he died there, judging from the date of will and the recorded date. One John Bridges served in R.W. 1st Light Dragoon VA (Cavalry?)
---------------------
One John Bridges had a Bounty Land Warrant # 4485. I wrote the National Archives for a pension record but was advised no record was found.
